ABN™ SONIC Pro does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or automated interpretation. All medical decisions must be made by qualified healthcare professionals. This app requires the ABN Sonic Pro Digital Stethoscope and cannot be used without the device.

1. Introduction

Thank you for using ABN™ SONIC Care and ABN™ SONIC Pro. These applications are developed by ABN Group as companion tools for the ABNSonic Digital Stethoscope, designed to assist in measurement, inspection, and recording of heart and lung sounds.

The applications are intended solely for internal and professional use within Indonesia and are not designed for general public distribution. ABN Group is committed to protecting the privacy and security of user data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Purpose of Data Use

  • Operate the main features of the application, including capturing, displaying, and recording sound data from the ABNSonic device.
  • Store and present measurement results for later review or reference by the user.
  • Support product improvement and quality enhancement based on internal analysis and user feedback.

The applications are not intended for commercial, marketing, or third-party data-sharing purposes.

3. Data Collected

The applications do not require real or verified personal identity information. However, users may voluntarily provide certain details for labeling and identification purposes, such as:

  • User name or initials (may be pseudonyms or identification codes)
  • Age or age range (optional)
  • Gender (optional)
  • Recorded sound data from the ABNSonic device

This information is used only as a label or identifier to help users distinguish their measurement data and is not treated as personal sensitive information.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • All recorded data and identifiers are stored locally on the user’s device (smartphone or tablet).
  • If the user enables export or synchronization features, the data will only be stored in locations explicitly chosen and approved by the user.
  • ABN Group does not have direct access to any user data stored on the device.
  • Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are implemented to protect the data against unauthorized access, misuse, or loss.

5. Data Sharing

The applications do not transmit or share any user or measurement data with third parties. All information remains private to the user and accessible only from their device unless the user decides otherwise.

6. User Consent

By using ABN™ SONIC Care or ABN™ SONIC Pro, the user acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Data entered into the application serves only as an internal identification label.
  • The user is fully responsible for managing, storing, and securing the data recorded on their device.
  • Continued use of the application constitutes the user’s acceptance of this Privacy Policy.

7. Data Deletion

  • Users have full control over the data entered into the application.
  • Data recorded or added (such as labels, aliases, or sound recordings) can be deleted at any time through the panel provided in the application.
  • Since the data entered is not real identity information but rather labels or aliases, users are free to delete such data whenever it is no longer needed.
  • If a deletion request is made by another party, the app holder can manually delete the data.
  • Once deleted, the information will no longer be stored on the device and cannot be accessed again unless the user records it anew.

8. Usage Limitation

These applications are intended for use within Indonesia and for users of the officially distributed ABNSonic device. The applications are not designed or certified for clinical diagnosis, but rather as supporting tools for measurement and audio recording. ABN Group shall not be held liable for any misuse or use beyond the intended purpose.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

ABN Group may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements in functionality, regulatory requirements, or internal company policies. Any updates will be announced within the applications or through the official ABN Group website.

The ABN™ SONIC Care and ABN™ SONIC Pro applications are developed exclusively to support the use of the ABNSonic Digital Stethoscope by professionals in Indonesia. ABN Group is dedicated to ensuring the privacy, confidentiality, and security of all data collected through these applications.

Sonic apps that work with Sonic devices of Sugih Corp. have the following processing policies to protect users’ personal information and rights and interests in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and to smoothly handle users’ complaints related to personal information. This policy has been effective since February 10, 2023.

Information Collected by the Sonic App

  • User-entered age (optional), sex, and expected date of birth
  • Heart sounds recorded by the user using the Sonic device
  • Call state of the phone to prevent use during a call

Use of Collected Information

  • The collected heart sounds are classified according to the age and gender entered by the user and are used only for the purpose of heart sound analysis and initial diagnosis.
  • In addition, heart sound content created by users can be directly disclosed to other users.
